cropped-Soner-Ersen-1.jpegSoner Ersen is a London based jazz pianist and educator. He is participating in different projects as a pianist, keyboardist, composer and educator.
He has graduated from Middlesex University with a first class honours degree in Jazz. During his studies at Middlsex University he worked with UK’s leading jazz performers and educators such as Chris Batchelor, Rob Townsend, Nikki Iles, Stuart Hall, Malcolm Edmonston, Garrett Williams and Steve Rose.
He has toured with the legendary jazz drummer Billy Cobham as a supporting band member in October 2005.
During his jazz journey he has played with UK’s well known jazz musicians such as Jim Mullen, Clark Tracey,  Heidi Vogel, Benet Mclean,Mark Mondesir, Tony Kofi, Mark Fletcher, Mark Lockheart, Josh Kemp, Dave Ohm, Nat Steele, Russel Van Den Berg, Brigitte Beraha, Nigel Price, Steve Fishwick, Gilad Atzmon, Rob Townsend, Lily Dior, Chris Batchelor, Brian Abrahams, Gene Calderazzo, Steve Rose, Ben Hazelton, Brian Edwards. He is currently teaching in London and gigging  with his Trio/Quartet.
